"Stress" is a term used to describe a condition that results from a person's response to physical, chemical, emotional, or environmental factors. Stress can refer to physical effort as well as mental tension. There is good stress (a wedding, a job promotion, the birth of a child) and bad stress (a death in the family, divorce, an argument) both types of stress effect the body.



Workshop Objective

  • Provide participants with stress reduction information to increase understanding of stress, what it does to one’s body and state of mind, and how to reduce it through relaxation exercises and meditation techniques.
